The Double Major Program is a four-year straight honours degree plan. Undergraduate students volition read two majors chosen from amongst the disciplinary strengths of the four schools in the Higher, namely, the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), the School of Humanities (SoH), the School of Social Sciences (SSS), and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI).

 Unlike the existing single subject area-based degrees, this degree will feature two distinct majors within an innovative new structure. As such this is a fully conceived double-disciplinary caste. Students will be admitted into this Double Major caste program at the point of entry to NTU, and declare their 2 majors at this point.

During this four-year degree program, undergraduates will read both Art History and English literature, benefiting from the expertise and resources of both the School of Humanities (SoH) and the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM).

 For English Literature, students will focus both on traditional historical periods and on contemporary innovative approaches to the subject field. Specialisations offered include All the major literary periods, Singaporean and Asian literatures, critical and literary theory, cultural studies, film studies, drama, postmodernism, and gender studies.

 The Art History curriculum aims to equip students with a thorough noesis and critical awareness of the global histories of art, civilization and heritage, which will be taught through lectures, seminars and practical projects. Students will exist trained in the rigours and methods of researching and writing about art, including specialisations in Global Art History, Asian Art History, Museums, Heritage, Curating and Contemporary Fine art and Theory. They volition besides benefit from ADM's human relationship to professional arts spaces such as the Center for Contemporary Fine art (CCA).

A 4-year directly honours programme.  The core courses equip students with a firm foundation in their two Majors. Students tin can then cull from a range of prescribed electives in their interests.

To graduate, students must complete ii (ii) categories of requirement, totalling at least 138 Academic Units (AUs):
